Borrowing Guidelines

The undergraduate student may borrow Five (5) circulation books while the graduate students may have Five (5) circulation books at atime for two weeks. Faculty members are allowed Ten (10) titles for one month, REPS Three ( 3) titles for two weeks and staff Two (2) title for two weeks.

An offical of the University may recall any book on loan if there is an urgent need for it; it is to be placed on Reserve.

Off Premise reading is not allowed for general reference books, theses, periodicals, dissertations and other special materials unless, authorized by the professor for classroom use.

Specific Guidelines

For U.P. students the following procedures will be observed:

1.The I.D. of the student is issued and validated by the Registrar.

2.Provided the student has no outstanding account with the U.P. Library.

3.The ID of a cross-registrant from within or outside of the University is countersigned by the duly authorized staff of his college library, provided, he has paid his library fee and has no outstanding account wuth the U.P. Library.

4.In case of lost I.D., present the Form 5 and the receipt of application of new I.D.of which include a 1x1 I.D.size picture, provided, no outstanding accounts with U.P. Library.
