Technical and Administrative Services
The Administrative Services Division (ASD) provides support to the functional division/sections of the University Library. Administrative functions such as documentation, communication & publication; records and forms management; procurement of supplies and services; budgeting; accounting; cashiering; staff recruitment; property custodianship; maintenance and utility; and receptionist are dispensed by the administrative services.
To meet the demands of the University Library, the Administrative Services Division collaborates with its internal clients--UPMin offices and staff--while dealing with the external, such as library users, contractors, service providers, and collectors.
The history of Administrative Services Division dates to 1996 when the UPMin Main Library, then college library, separated from UP Diliman.
